We are pleased to announce the recent appointment of Shrijib Patra as Elemental’s representative in Mumbai, India.
Shrijib is a petroleum geophysicist who has recently returned to India and joined Elemental following career positions with BG Group in India, the UK, and Australia, and earlier with Essar and Schlumberger in India.
Elemental has additional links to India including Wellington-based geoscientist Monmoyuri Sarma (who established our exploration geoscience practice in 2015), and director (and founder of Elemental Marine) Arun Chaudhary, who is also CEO of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce.
Elemental has some project experience in both India and Bangladesh, and we recognise this as an historic opportunity to provide clients in South Asia with the benefits of our collective experience as significant industry reforms and restructuring create investment opportunities across the vital energy sector. Our priority is in providing technical and commercial advice to clients who are initiating or substantially growing their oil and gas exploration and production portfolios; in expectation of subsequent broadening across all operations, environmental enabling, and into renewable energy project implementation as opportunities arise.
