Our Director-Environment, Kate Bromfield, and Mac Beggs presented this week at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists Hydrates Geoscience Technology workshop in Auckland. Input from global experts provided a stimulating event which was hosted by the New Zealand’s world leading hydrates research team.
An interesting take-home from the workshop was that New Zealand’s 40 Tcf of identified gas could be exported as carbon free hydrogen due to the special conditions prevalent in New Zealand.
Check out more about a clean energy source of the future – gas hydrates.
